Alexandre M. Pereira Figueiredo

Alexandre M. Pereira Figueiredo has a degree in Mass Communication, a postgraduate degree in Communication Sciences, a postgraduate degree in Information and Communication Technologies, a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and a PhD in Communication Sciences. He is also a specialist in Audiovisual and Media Production and is currently studying for a degree in Law.

He is currently a professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda and a researcher at IC.NOVA, Techn&Art, and CIDIUM. He is also the editor of the electronic academic journal artciencia.com, a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of European Studies, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Open Access Asia project.

He has published three books and around 40 articles in specialist journals. He has organised one event and participated in eight events. He works in the field of Communication Sciences.

In the past, he was a professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, the University of Beira Interior, the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria and the Higher Institute of Languages and Administration of Santarém. He was also a FCT doctoral fellow, professor, communication and ICT trainer, marketing and communication manager, among others.
